GNOMON COURSE

INTRODUCTION TO 3D WITH MAYA

Professor: James Schauf

Maya is a 3D software package that is used to create models, visual effects and images for television, movies, video games, print media and everything in-between. This class will focus on the basics of creating 3D scenes that can be rendered out into final 2D images, though there are a number of other ways that Maya could be used. We'll tour the interface and learn how to navigate a scene. Menus and editors will be introduced as well as how to start a project.
